Be sensitive to any residual impulse to become something, to acquire something, to achieve something, to understand something, to experience something or to know something. We never find our self; we come to rest in our self. We can never know our self; we can only be our self knowingly. For the same reason God cannot know the world; God can only be the world. What is known by being is unknown by the mind, and what is known by the mind is unknown by being. Nothing the mind knows is true, but everything the mind knows is an image of truth. So-called enlightenment or awakening is simply the recognition of the nature of being, its recognition of itself. For the one, there is just the shining of itself eternally, and we are that. Everything is that.
