- Event: Seven Day Retreat at Garrison Institute - April 2019
We begin this meditation by making a clear distinction between the knower and the objects that are known. We see that knowing is not just in the background of experience but pervades all experience. Finally, we understand that all experience is a vibration of infinite knowing, that the world is what the inside of God's mind looks like when viewed from the perspective of the separate subject of experience, and that our finite mind is a viewpoint, not an individual entity.
Rupert clarifies synonyms for consciousness and the difference between consciousness and mind.
A man asks what causes the finite mind to take different forms and why some minds seem to move towards pure awareness and others away.
A woman asks how to find her true nature when it seems to be missing.
A man asks for help locating his true nature.
A man asks what to expect at the moment of death and what will happen to the finite mind.
