The first thing you know about yourself: ‘I am’. About another person: ‘they are’. About any object: ‘it is’. The amness of yourself, areness of others and isness of things is the same being – refracted by thought into numerous forms without becoming other than itself. You are that, before you became yourself. The world is that, before becoming a world. You are the ground where all experiences move and have apparent existence. You are the ocean upon which all experience plays like waves. Just as waves taste only of water, all experience tastes only of yourself. When you know your being, you know what everyone truly is – not through subject-object, but in identity. You know them not in relationship, but in love. In love, we divest ourselves so fully that we become the other without being other. Don't rest in a blank mind. Rest in being, as being – where peace and love reside.
