To Know Reality, We Must Turn Inwards

‘The understanding’ is the experiential recognition underlying all spiritual traditions. Some, like me, feel compelled to share it, despite knowing words can’t capture it. Everything arises from and returns to a single reality, including ourselves. Calling this reality ‘our self’ might be most apt, for we are it. Our perceptions are inherently limited, refracting the singular reality into a multiplicity of forms we mistake for true diversity. Our minds, through thinking and perceiving, give shape to this infinite potential – in doing so, the one infinite reality falls asleep to itself and wakes up as a person. Many turn to spiritual teachings for fulfilment, only to realise that no external source can offer what we inherently seek. It is found within, prior to thought and perception. To know reality, we must turn inwards, transcending time and space, touching our essential being. We are the eternal reality, manifesting as the world, yet unchanged at our core.
