The first form the self assumes as it emerges from itself is the feeling of being or the knowledge 'I'. As soon as this infinite 'I' colours itself it seems to acquire a limit, and the body is the image of this temporary, finite self. In this contemplation we investigate the raw experience of the body. We invite sensations and perceptions into our awareness and see them simply as the expansion of experience from the dimensionless presence of pure consciousness.
