- Duration: Video: 1 hour, 49 minutes, and 45 seconds / Audio: 1 hour, 49 minutes, and 45 seconds

- Event: Seven Day Retreat at Castello di Titignano 2019
In this meditation we begin by seeing knowing as the context of experience, never the content of experience. If this knowing were to speak of its knowledge of itself it would simply say, 'I am'. Enlightenment is the simple recognition of our true nature, the knowledge 'I am', uncoloured by the limitations and objects of experience.
An audience member asks Rupert if there is a distinction between awareness and consciousness.
A man asks how he can understand the nature of consciousness given that it is beyond the mind's comprehension.
A woman asks Rupert to clarify the relationship between the 'I' that is aware and the ego.
A man asks why he is not aware of himself during deep sleep.
A man asks if there are different pathways of experience.
A man asks about the process of becoming established in our true nature.
