In this meditation we begin by establishing ourself as the witness or the ever-present background of all changing experience. Next we explore the experience of time. The here and the now are not a place in space and a moment in time; they are the eternal, infinite nature of consciousness. We then turn our attention the body, and we experience the body as a verb rather than a noun, not as a sensation but rather as the experience of sensing. We explore the head and chest, thoughts, sensations and feelings, and discover all raw experience itself is inherently neither pleasant nor unpleasant. We find there is no suffering in experience itself.
