Experience takes place now – your thought happens now – yet now remains when thought fades. Remove thoughts, feelings, sensations and perceptions from now – what’s left is not them, but now itself. Between sounds or sights, now persists – pure, contentless. Strip all superfluous from experience – consciousness alone remains – now is consciousness. Stay as that – no duration, no time exists in this direct knowing of our self. Memory of breakfast arises now, yet attention never leaves this timeless now – no gap, no travel. Time seems to begin with thought – a lens refracting the eternal into moments – but now is not in time. No line, no point – just eternity – where nothing happens. Consciousness knows no extension – only this ever-present, dimensionless presence – free of past or future.
