Just as travellers venture out into distant lands only to discover their true destination was home all along, through thought and perception we wander into time and space, temporarily losing ourselves in experience. This meditation reveals a profound reversal: rather than being visitors to our true nature who mostly live in experience, we are in fact already home as infinite being who simply visit experience from time to time. Like the sun that never stops shining even when clouds appear to obscure it, our being remains ever-present whether mixed with experience or standing alone. We need not practice or seek enlightenment, for we cannot approach what we already are. The invitation is simply to remember our self, to make our home in being, allowing experience to fade like mist evaporating from an ever-present sky, revealing the natural peace and transparency of pure being.
