Let the World Lose Itself in You

As we sink deeply into our being, our being loses the limitations that it borrows from the content of experience and stands revealed as infinite being. To believe and feel, ‘I am this body’, is like the space in a room believing and feeling, ‘I am this room’. In the ‘I am the body’ feeling, we can separate out the ‘I am’ and ‘the body’ and see that the being that shines in the body as the knowledge, ‘I am’, does not share the limitations of the body itself. This being fills and pervades the body, and it fills and pervades the universe. True meditation or prayer is like a current that runs continually throughout our entire life, irrespective of our experiences or circumstances. Peace, joy, love, beauty. They are not really human experiences. They are the background shining through, the shining of the infinite. Let the world lose itself in you.
