The deepest meditation, highest prayer and ultimate surrender to God is the blind awareness of our naked being. Blind because nothing is seen, known, or felt there; and naked because, before clothed in experience, being stands alone, limitless, empty, silent, and still. When awareness turns outward through the senses, it perceives the world. When it turns inward through the mind, it perceives thoughts and emotions. Between inner and outer lies a dimensionless, love-filled space where all potential lies, the place where God and 'I am' exist. Meditation, prayer, and surrender reverse this process, returning us to this love-filled space. Nothing marvellous awaits; it's already within as our being. When desires are fulfilled, the seeking mind briefly ceases, and being shines, granting peace and happiness. Why not go directly to the radiant being within? Whatever we've sought resides in the blind awareness of our naked being, expressed in the world but experienced within ourselves.
