Whatever we are thinking or feeling, it is always accompanied by the sense of being 'myself'. Only awareness is aware, therefore only awareness can have the experience of being 'myself'. In this meditation we find that the essence of awareness, the essence of 'myself', is the peace and happiness for which we long.
