A Conversation About Healthcare & Non-Duality
Dear Friends in Healthcare,
My name is Naomi Tzril Saks. I serve as a clinical healthcare chaplain in palliative care and am a faculty member at the University of California, San Francisco. I have a particular interest in bringing the non-dual understanding to those who are newly diagnosed, seriously ill, or dying, as well as to the physicians and health care professionals who accompany them.
I am ordained, hold a Master of Divinity degree from Harvard Divinity School, a Master of Arts in Business Management from Antioch University, and completed the Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. I remembered our essential nature around 20 years ago and since 2022, I’ve been attending Rupert’s retreats on the West Coast.
I’m reaching out to invite you—physicians, nurses, mental health professionals, spiritual care providers, and others in health care—to join a conversation. Together, we’ll reflect on how the non-dual understanding is shaping our work and consider ways, both individually and collaboratively, to further integrate this perspective into our practices, organizations, and communities, in a routine and focused way.
If this resonates with you, I would love to hear from you. Please share your contact information if you’d like to be part of this dialogue.
Thank you for your work in the world.
Warmly,
Naomi
