Retreats are a wonderful way to go more deeply into the non-dual understanding and deepen our connection to the community. Whether we are new to non-duality or have spent years exploring this understanding, our shared being shines when we come together.
On the first day, we begin with dinner followed by a welcome and guided meditation. On each full day, there are two meetings: a silent and guided meditation in the morning and a conversation with Rupert in the afternoon that focuses on attendees’ questions. On the final day, we finish with a morning meeting followed by lunch.
There is ample free time between meetings and meals to explore Garrison Institute and the surrounding area and to enjoy the company of fellow attendees. While this is not a silent retreat, resting in quiet contemplation is always available for those who wish to.
About Garrison Institute: The Garrison Institute, formerly a Capuchin monastery, is in Garrison, New York overlooking the Hudson River. It is situated on the beautiful ninety-five-acre Glenclyffe property. Its tranquil, park-like setting replete with gardens, a boxwood labyrinth, a gazebo on a Hudson River bluff, and many walking paths, offers a natural setting for contemplation. The Garrison Institute property is connected to the Hudson River trail system and the Appalachian Trail. Accommodations are simple, beautiful and quiet. Learn more about Garrison Institute here. Please do not contact the retreat center directly, contact Francesca with any retreat questions you may have at: francesca@rupertspira.com
COVID-19 safety protocols as of SEPTEMBER 26, 2022: To attend a retreat or event all guests, teachers, and staff are required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19* including at least one booster (additional boosters are optional). We will continue to follow any COVID-19 guidelines set forth by our local officials, NYS and the CDC. Garrison Institute also highly recommends that all guests self-test (at home antigen test is acceptable) within the 48 hour window prior to arriving for a retreat on site, and to bring a 2nd self-test kit when coming on site.
Proof of being fully vaccinated will be requested from you via a secure link and are due back to the Garrison Institute prior to arriving on site for the opening day of this retreat. Instructions on how to submit the documents will follow. Guests who do not have evidence of vaccination will not be allowed entry into the building.
Francesca will post lots of helpful retreat information to all attendees on the discussion board as we get closer to our start date.
