You Are That

If you were to remove from this room all objects and people it contains, and the walls containing it, the space that once seemed limited would be revealed as the vast borderless space of the universe. Likewise, if you were to divest yourself of all thoughts, feelings, images, memories, narratives and perceiving faculties, your essential self would stand revealed as it essentially is. You would stand revealed as the one unlimited being – God’s being. The one being that shines in all people as their self. God’s infinite being, and you are that. If you understand this, you have understood the essence of all spiritual teachings. Once the nature of your being becomes clear, nothing can disturb you. You realise that peace is the nature of being itself. Your joy is the fullness of your being. Your desires come from inherent fulfilment. Once you realise you are the being of all beings, you love unconditionally.
