In this meditation we look closely at the objects of experience. We find that no thought, feeling, sensation or perception ever comes in contact with or touches another thought, feeling, sensation or perception. The only thing these objects come in contact with is the empty, space-like presence of awareness. When an object such as a sensation merges into the awareness from which it has arisen, awareness briefly shines as it is. That self-shining is the experience of happiness.
