The Eternal and the Infinite

The words ‘eternal’ and ‘infinite’ seem abstract, but they refer to something intimate – not subject to the limitations of thought and perception. All experience seems to take place along a line of time, but past and future exist in thought alone, and thought is always now. We never leave the now. Without reference to thought, how long does now last? There is no time for now to be a moment in. Thought does not take place in time; time takes place in thought. The eternal is not abstract – it is your experience. You are not 25 or 47; you are eternal. Time is born in you. All we know of space is perception. Remove perception and there is no space, but awareness remains. Here is not a point in space; it is dimensionless presence. You do not move in space; perception moves in you. Here and now is the portal between time and eternity.
