‘His Veil Is His Oneness’

Infinite being doesn’t know your sorrow because there is no you other than it. Your knowledge of yourself is infinite being’s knowledge of itself. The knowing of your being is God’s presence shining as you. The vast space of the universe doesn’t appear in this room – it is this room. There is no self that fell into ignorance needing redemption. God’s being isn’t veiled by ignorance; his veil is his oneness – nothing veils him other than him. Because infinite being is one, it cannot know itself in subject-object relationship. The world is an exteriorisation of God’s being. Nothing truly exists, is created or destroyed – only modulation. This restores the world’s sacred significance. You don’t emerge from, exist in or unite with God’s infinite being. You weren’t born when your body was born, and you won’t die when it dies. There is just God’s infinite being, eternally present. You are that without being you.
