The Same Knowing With Which God Knows Me

"Could you comment on this passage from First Corinthians: ‘When that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away. When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child. But when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see through a glass darkly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then shall I know even as also I am known. And now abideth faith, hope, love, these three – but the greatest of these is love.’ Rupert says: ‘We know in part means all our knowledge comes through the finite mind, through thought and perception, which fragments the unity of being into many parts. But when that which is perfect – whole, complete, indivisible – is realised, the illusion of separation dissolves. “Child” means before this understanding dawned; “man” means recognising our true nature. The dark glass is the murky veil of perception through which we see reality. Face to face means unmediated knowledge – the knowledge of our own being. “I shall know even as I am known” – the knowing with which I know God is the same knowing with which God knows me. Love is the highest expression of this recognition in human experience.’"
