The Beautiful Light of Pure Knowing

Understand and feel yourself as the knowing, illuminating aspect in all experience. As the light of the sun illuminates the earth, we, awareness, the light of pure knowing, illuminate all experience. We do not see objects, we see their light reflected. We don’t know experience itself, we know the knowing of experience. A finite mind is like the space in a room and infinite consciousness is the rest of the space in the universe. These are not two spaces, only the one space of the universe. Our mind is not limited by its content. When we look out at reality through the dim faculties of sense perception we stay in the white radiance of eternity. The impulse is to die to its limitations, to return to its natural, unlimited condition, to return to God's infinite being.
