Remove Abidance from Abidance

We all feel that we are essentially the same self or person throughout our lives. The name we give to ourself is ‘I’, a continuous thread that runs consistently throughout our lives. Just as none of the beads on the necklace are essential to the necklace, so no experience is essential to our self. Remain as the ‘I’. The removal of beads does not affect the thread. Remain as ‘I’ in the absence of any notion of a past or future. Simply be as you are before you were created. Simply be as you are after you die. Do not take the name ‘I’. You have not always called yourself ‘I’. Remove the name ‘I’. Remove abidance from abidance.
