Birth and Death Happen in Eternity

Imagine that you have just been born. In time, experience will be born in you, but you, being, have no experience of having been born. Time, as such, simply seems to be a part of our human experience. It is not inherent in being itself. Now stop imagining that you are a new-born infant and come to your present experience. Just be aware of the simple feeling of being. Now imagine going to bed and your perceptions begin to leave you. Your experience of the world vanishes but being just goes on being. Now thoughts and images leave us. Being just shines all alone. Now fast-forward to the end of your life. You have long since lost your memory. There are no thoughts or images. There is no experience except the experience of simply being. No time or distance has passed between birth and death. It happens in eternity.
